The Famas is a very functional and special designed rifle. Almost all people know the type from computer-gaming, movies, or even from the beginning of airsoft, where one of the first rifles was an AEG-Famas.

Search the right partner

A manufactorer has to be searched and we finally found one of the actual best companys in designing and production: northeast airsoft

The young company with employes who are working many years in the airsoft-branche, loves non standard project, like the STEN-gun and the MP2-A1 UZI. The Famas is one of the most elaborately designed weapons of our time and presents a special challenge to the manufacturer.   – A perfect project for northeast –  

A major challenge was the so-called reverse engineering. We used pictures, videos, individual parts, manuals and even posters to bring the model back to life. 

We read books, looked at reports, searched for documentation and even visited companies that still have reference weapons to take pictures and measure individual parts.

We also put a lot of thought into finding the right materials. Value was placed on durability and stability. Only the fiberglass body we could not implement and have decided here for nylon fiber polyamide. 2 criteria were decisive here: the body would have had to be produced by hand and would have been too expensive for the airsoft market and even the G2 version, when it was developed later, did without this material for cost reasons. However, the material surface was modeled after the original body of the F1 perfect.

Well; what about license, collectors…and so on?

As we said at the beginning, we have designed a replica for many areas.

To satisfy the collectors we have contacted Cybergun. They have been with us for the last few months, taking care of the design of the packaging, goodies and marketing. Cybergun also helped us to find the manufacturer of the original oil bottle, so that we could produce a new edition of the bottles. It was always interesting to discuss the topics and to find a good common way.

What about service? 

Even if the materials were chosen at a very high level, something can always break in the game. We offer here the possibility to order any spare part of the weapon directly from us and some distributors. High availability and fast shipping are our goal to help all Famas users quickly.
